| Octel serial port configuration Hi I new to this PBX enviroment, I have one question, recently at work we install a new PBX box and was wondering if its possible for me to dial in to the pbx box from home to access one of the lines that allows me to make international call, and use that line to make a call. I would reccomend against this unless you're using an IP softphone, etc.... | ||||||||

| MWI from remote Audix ip soft phone works great for the telecommuter. If used in telecommuter mode it does not require any more then a dial-up connection to your corporate network and uses your home phone, or whatever phone you want by making 2 calls from the switch. One to the called party and one to the phone you set up in the preferences. | ||||||||
