Location: Minnesota Rep Power: 0 ![]() | Need to install a VAL board in our Definity G3 and I wanted the info on how to install into the Cabinet. What programming if needed to do so. I have the software to do the recordings but I want to install this on or system. Thanks. | ||||||||

| Definity VAL Board installation Hi , after the board insertion and after the system validete it ( disp circ command ) , You have to administer the node-name ip and give the node name and the ip address to the Val Board . Then add a new data module type ethernet and port XXYYZZ33 ( XX PN , YY carrier ID , ZZ board position : 01A1533 ) , link number 8 . Then change ip-interface and fill VAL , hardware board position ( example : 01A15 ) , node-n ( fille the name given in the node-n ip form ) subnet mask and set the value enabled to Yes .
