Wouldn't logging in with the same user ID kick you out of the terminal?

If using a "Data module" find the ext # for module then, busy and release the port to knock down the terminal and release the data lock.

Restrictions

If I am reading your post correctly you are refering to a terminal connected directly to the switch still being connected and you want to get in remotely. Easiest would be if there is someone on site you can call and have them just go hit the power switch on the terminal to shut it off. That would do it.

FAC/Vector

Try this. Status the logins. Command: stat log.

The screen will then show you the login id's and current commands they ar in. Corresponding to it also are login numbers.

Then do:

reset logi [login numbers]

This will then knock down the other users connection to the pbx.
