Do you have any network in place between them now? Does the IP Office support Qsig?

I am not sure how and E1 and a PRI would interface, I am sure its been done. An IP connection may be a better solution, I have heard of a Nortel being networked with a Cisco Call manager via IP. I am sure there is a solution with an Avaya product.

Anyone have any other insight on this?

We are going to be installing a 1.5 M pipe between here and England and are going to try VOIP.We did a VC over IP @ 256 but w/o any QOS setup.
I've been talking to my vendor and we are looking into a company called Mediatrix which actually makes a product that may work.Any suggestions are always welcome.
Thanks

Hi there

Have you ever looked at Multitech. They make analog as well as digital VoIP gateways. I believe the Multitech should work if you are implementing VoIP on the WAN link.

If your WAN network is using Cisco routers supporting VOIP, it would be a much simpler solution. All you have to do is to connect each switch to the routers via the serial module (T1/E1 cards). This may not be in "IP connectivity" scenario but more of a TDM connection, but since you pass thru a WAN network which utilizes Cisco equipments you can set parameters such as QOS and others whcih are important for the voice quality.
