THE MICROSOFT WORM

I'm just trying to have a single extension roll to multiple appearances on a 6416D+M.
Line 1 xxxx rolls to
Line 2 xxxx rolls to
Line 4 xxxx rolls to
Line 5 xxxx rolls to
etc.
The problem I'm running into is that the coverage group continues to pickup after rolling to the second extension. I know this is a basic question, but this simple problem has stumped me. Any help would be appreciated.

Nate

Malicious Call Trace output???

IF U ARE TRYING TO HAVE A CALL RING MORE THAN ONCE SET OF RINGS ON ONE EXTENSION, BUT ON ANOTHER CALL APPEARANCE, THEN U ARE TRYING INVAIN, THE PBX REMEMBERS WHERE IT HAS RUNG BEFORE, AND IT WILL NOT RING THAT EXTENSION AGAIN

MER MAIL MAYBE

I'm a little confused as to what you're looking to do....

Are you:

A) Looking to have all stations ring simultaneously
B) Roll through each extension in a linear (step by step) manner until the call is answered?

My suggestions (without knowing how you've got it setup currently):

Option A:

Setup a coverage answer group (add cov ans next), add the extensions as members (up to , create a new coverage path (add cov path next) with your coverage answer group's number as the first point of coverage, then assign that coverage path to your extension.

Option B:

Setup a coverage path with each station as a coverage point. The call should flow from one extension to the next until answered.

Please let me know if this helps, if you're still having trouble or if I'm just wrong. Be sure to include a clearer understanding of what you've got, what you're trying to do, what you've tried and what version switch you're using.

Cheers!

If I am understanding what you are asking, Check the settings on your coverage path, it sounds like busy is set to y, which will cause a second call to roll right to coverage.
