call history per extension

G3R CommMng 1.3 rel 11.

is there a way using ASA or CMS to determine how many internal/external calls came in/out of a particular extension?

the extension is not an agent nor requires login to take calls, also it's not a vdn.

for example we would like to determine how many calls a regular extension makes a day (including internal ext-ext)?

If it's not an agent, and you can't use CMS for reporting, then you'll need a Call Detail Reportin system (CDR). That's the only way I know how to do it.

That is a function of an external call accounting system. The switch collects this data and will send it to the CAS. You can hook a serial printer to send it to but this is raw, unsorted data. If you are interested in one extension you will have to manually search the output one record at a time.

With a CAS it is an easy task to do what you want.
