Location: San Diego, CA Rep Power: 5 ![]() | To find out if your switch supports that card type "change circuit x" (x being the cabinet number you want to make the change in). Move down to a vacant slot and right click your mouse. You will get a list of all the cards that your switch will support. Scroll down that list and see if the TN2214 is on it. If the card is listed there, then the PBX supports it. If it is listed and your PBX does not see the card, I would suspect a defective board. __________________ Do not meddle in the affairs of dragons for you are crunchy and taste good with ketchup. Rep Power: 0 ![]() | thanks for your reply. it lets me assign the cp, but when i plug the board in, i get a board not inserted. this happens on multple tn2214's in any of my networks switches. the network is 7 8720's and g3's. i'm getting the same error in all of them. my guess is that even though they allow me to select that cp, it is not supported.

Location: San Diego, CA Rep Power: 5 ![]() | The TN2214 is supported in International service and in US Category B switches only. Most machines in this country are Category A PBXes. To see what category your PBX is type "display sys offer". If you see category A then the card will not work. You cannot change the category of a working switch. __________________ Do not meddle in the affairs of dragons for you are crunchy and taste good with ketchup. Marty
