Rep Power: 0 ![]() | Setting Number of Rings Hi: We have an 800 number that people will call in for product support (it lands on x2746). I have a request to increase the number of rings from the current 3 to 6 since sometimes agents are a little slow in picking up. There is a coverage answer group 2 containing the 8 agents. In addition, there is a coverage path 5 that I set the rings to 6 on (Pt1 is set to coverage group 2 and Pt2 is set to go to V/M). Extension 2746 is set to coverage path 5. Even with this set up, the number of rings from the 800 number and corresponding extension is still 3. It appears I am missing something but am at a loss. Thanks! Mark

Location: Bellevue, NE Rep Power: 0 ![]() | Look in System-Parameters Coverage-Forwarding. One of the settings controls the number of rings from the first to send (or 2nd to 3rd, etc...) point in coverage. NOTE.... this is a system wide change. If you "fix" it for the 800 number, you'll "break" it for everyone else. Bob
