Tunk line problems

hey...i have a problem...hope you guys can help me...a DID-CO trunk in our company is experiencing a problem,it go out-of-service from time to time, causing all incoming calls in that particular trunk to be cutted-off...the duration of the cut-calls varies from time to time...the trunk rides on a two-pair E1 coming from a telephone company...can anyone help me at least reduce the occurence of cut-calls...

Do you see anything in your logs? 'display alarms'
Assuming you have ruled out any of your internal cabling I would pursue this with your telco provider and have them run some tests on the circuit and then go from there.

If you were having a problem with an E1 itself it would affect everything on it, not just one number. A problem with only one number would have two possible causes.

Internal to you it could be cabling, problems with the answer point (whatever that is) or the port that device is connected to.

If none of that is the problem, then it must be a telco office problem.

I am assuming that you are not having any problems with anything else on that E1.
