Rep Power: 6 ![]() | Intra Switch CDR I just got some new DID's. Do I need to program them in my switch if they are coming over the same T1 as my other ones are? And if so, do I need to do anything besides making my dial plan change to extension under the 4-digit exten row? | ||||||||

| St00pid question.... As Bob says you don't have to do anything if your network provider is sending you 4 digits the call will be routed to whatever you set up for those digits. As a matter of interest we have 5 digit extensions. We have two DID ranges coming in to our trunk groups. One ending 7XXX and one ending 4XXX. In the trunk group config we have the following entries on page 3: Code: INCOMING CALL HANDLING TREATMENT Service/ Called Called Del Insert Per Call Feature Len Number CPN/BN public-ntwrk 4 7 1 public-ntwrk 4 2 3 Cheers, Ronster [Edited on 4/6/2003 by Ronster] [Edited on 4/6/2003 by Ronster] [Edited on 4/6/2003 by Ronster] | ||||||||
