Rep Power: 4 ![]() | S8300 & 5610SW IP phone? It is appearing to me that the 5610 is only for use with the IP office systems? Is there a phone type I can assign it such that it would work correctly with an S8300? It does not seem to be a valid set type? We have a few of these 5610's and I would like to be able to get them talking to the S8300....is it possible, and if so what set type should I use? Thanks, bigbadbilly

Location: Melbourne Rep Power: 0 ![]() | The 56xx series IP phones are IP Office only. The 46xx series phones work on both. Same with the 54xx series digital (DCP) phones are IP Office only. The 24xx series work on both. They all look identical but in the firmware it checks to see what system it's connected to and denies it from working if you try and put it on a non-supported system. There is a price difference too. The 56xx & 54xx are cheaper than the 46xx & 24xx phones because of the price difference between IP Office and Definity/ACM systems.
