View MAC in ASA Mngmt Console - PBX Info :: Your Free PBX, PABX and Telephone Information Resource

Hi all,
Is there a way to view MAC or Serial numbers on the phones from the ASA mgmt console?

Do you need a version? We have a guy on-site who is asking me via SMS. But I can get more info.

Not sure what you're talking about here. Sure you've got the right forum?

I assume you're talking about IP phones if you want MAC addresses. But I've never heard of this ASA management console. The IP Office uses "Manager" as it's programming console.

Can you give me more info?

The phones are 9630's and it's an 8700 server. No version info yet

Sorry, you've got the wrong forum. This is for the smaller Avaya system, the IP Office. Post in the Definity Support forum and you'll get an answer. (Definity is the old name for the S8xxx series systems).

I do not have the latest version of ASA, so it might be different, but mine does not. The MAC of the IP phone is not needed to administer it, it is administered by station number. We do not have any 4630 sets here but the 4620 has an options button on the phone that will let you look at many things, among them are the IP settings including the MAC.
