What is a G3si?

Is a G3si an updated version of a G3r?

Also how many lines in a vector on a S8xxx can you have? Thank you!

A G3si is a smaller version of a G3r. It can not scale as large as a G3r and has size limits smaller than a G3r, such as number of Trunk Groups, numbers of stations, etc.

In a G3r Release 3 you can have 32 steps to a vector. Hope this helps.

You can chain vectors to exceed the number of steps supported in a single vector. If I recall correctly toa total of 96 steps.

The PPN of a G3si comes in a refrigerator sized cabinet like a G3r and can have two additional cabinets attached to it. A G3r can have 44 additional cabinets attached to it.
