Cool Holiday table in G3si v8

I am trying to find out how I can update/change a holiday table in the G3si v8 system.

Any help will be much appreciated.

The command that works for me is "change holiday (1-10)". The 1-10 entry is for which holiday table you want to change.

Marty,

Thank you for the quick reply.
It doesn’t work for me, unfortunately. That’s why I am asking for help.
Neither command works: add holiday, disp holiday, list holiday, ch holiday.
Again, it is about G3si V8.2

Any other ideas?

The Holiday table is a vector table and is used with vectors. With what you tell me, I would guess that the feature is not activated in your switch.

Do a "display sys cust" and look for the entry "Vectoring (Holidays)?". If it says "n", the table is not available to you. You will need to call Avaya and have it turned on. I do not know what they will charge for that.

If you are not using VDNs and vectors, just turning on the Holiday table does not gain you anything.

Here is what I have on page 4 after running the "display sys cust":

Vectoring (Basic)? y
Vectoring (Prompting)? y
Vectoring (G3V4 Enhanced)? y
Vectoring (ANI/II-Digits Routing)? y
Vectoring (G3V4 Advanced Routing)? y
Vectoring (CINFO)? y
Vectoring (Best Service Routing)? y

As you can see, there is no entry "Vectoring (Holidays)".
And I am not using any VDNs and vectors in Definity, Aspect Call Center takes care of this.
So I guess this case can be closed.

Thank you again.

I don't think the Holiday Table was available for Release 8. I think it became available until Communications Manage Rel 1 or later. So I guess if you are using Aspect as your call center it really would close this case.

One of my switches is a Release 9.2 and it has Holiday Tables, even though we are not using them.

Well maybe it was R 9 that was the first release of Holiday Tables but you won't find them in Release 8.
