Re: Anyone going to be in Richardson the week of Dec 13?

I'm changing the Sup's phone from 3905's to 3904's. They want the speakerphone setup on their phones. I get all setup but I cannot get key 00 to stay logged in while the hand set is on-hook. Do they have to set the handle off hook? Also, I cannot monitor an agent with the phone on-hook.

Anyone have a way to set this up or any hints?

Check the HOML prompt in the ACD data block that the supervisor set is assigned. If it is YES change it to NO.

This will only affect the Sup's phone or the 3904 phones right?
All the other agents just hit the "make set busy" key twice.

HOML set to YES will log the set out if the headset is removed or the MSB button is activated. HOML set to NO requires the MSB button to be activated, it will not log an agent out if they unplug their headset or put the handset in the cradle.

If there is any question on how you want this to operate for the queue, you can always put the supervisor in a seperate ACD queue.

After thinking about this. The Sups do not need to log in to monitor a call. They can pick up the handset or use the speakerphone.

That's what we will do. :wink:
