cc7 stand-alone servers

Hi,
In release 6 I only install co-resident systems. Now I had a request to install a stand-alone cc7 system. I have 3 servers dedicated for CCMS, CCMA and CCT. I'm thinking of installing the software like this:

• CCMS + LM
• CCMA + SU + Security Framework
• CCT

Is such a config ok?
In case I need CCMS & CCMA stand-by servers, is Replication server a mandatory stand-alone server? Can Replication co-resident with any servers?

Thanks very much for your advice.

I suggest you download all the manuals first and read. CC7 does not use Sybase anymore and it behaves differently. For example, you don't need a Replication server anymore for redundancy. Happy reading!

For smaller configurations like less number of users we can prefer installing all the above specified applications on a single server...

Or else if it a large setup, we can install the applications as specified above, Do follow the steps specified in the documentation.. CC7 is entirely different from CC6

Yes that looks good. The sybase is still used on the CCMA. The CCMS now uses cache. As for the replication no. It has to be on a server that is built like the CCMS.
