CCMA 6.0 - Restore from Backup

My vendor installed SP2 over the weekend without a backup. They wanted to save disk space. I am now having to restore the server from my last known good backup.

Has anyone ever accomplished this before and what problems did you run into?

I have restored from backups many times. No problems unless your database is corrupt. I will usually take about 3 times as long as the backup takes. So if backup takes 15 minutes restore takes about 45 (without verifying the database).

Just make sure the server has the correct access to the place where the database is stored.

ouch.. does that mean you lost all your historical stats and changes to scripts and other configs as well? How does your management feel about that when the next invoice from your vendor arrives..
