Open/Closed Voice Session

Can you Open/Close a Voice Session with IF-THEN-END IF like below ?


IF AGE OF CALL = 45 THEN
OPEN VOICE SESSION
COLLECT 1 DIGITS INTO agent_busy_vs
END VOICE SESSION
WAIT 2
END IF

I think you need to change your age of call to > 45 rather then = 45 otherwise it will only start the voice session if the call is exaclty 45 seconds old...otherwise the rest looks good at a glance.

Better to write them like this:

IF (AGE OF CALL > 43) AND (AGE OF CALL < 47) THEN

This way you have a wider range and the equation will not be true to all values greater than 45.

Also, play a VOICE PROMPT/GIVE RAN before the COLLECT DIGITS command to tell the caller what the expected digit is for.
