Observe Feature

We currently have a sup that does observe on some agents.There are a couple that she can't.When she hits the Observe key and inputs the extension we get a fast busy.I have looked at the programming and it looks the same as others.
Anyone encounter this before?

This is freaky....I am having the same problem. I got on this site and was going to ask the same question. I even went through all the other Sup's and did a trace on their TN's to see if they were observing the agent I'm having problems with. I did a DACR AGN <agent tn> in LD 48 still getting a busy.
I replaced the phone, still got a busy. I am going to flash the phone and see if that fixes my issue: LD 32 FDLF <agent tn>
I'll let you know if that works.

Flash did not work. I ended up outing the phone and moving it to another TN and that cleared everything up.

I'll give it a try maybe but will probably be in the morinig since this agent works late.
I forgot to mention I had deleted and reinstalled a couple of days before on the same TN but will let you know.

We are still using the Aries sets and they too will do this every now and then. Usually, moving the phone to another TN or Outing/Perform an EDD/then rebuild on same TN also works. I think that the database must get mucked up and this just sort of resets everything.

one word.."patches" even though you may have up to date DepList you may still need a patch to the SCCS. I have weird sh!t happening on my Symp Web 5.0 since we upgraded last Friday that I'm still trying to correct.

Re-evaluated access class and partitions seems to be working ok but Nortel did send me some patches for it.

I tried outing and rebuuilding on same TN,outing and moving to new TN and still no luck.
We are just losing Symposium link and not the SCCS.

Is there a certain patch for this?
