Re: Pope not doing well....

I have a client running and older (21ish) Meridian 1 with Meridan Mail and ACD. They have a serial printer that prints off reports hourly from one of the TTY ports.

What would be a good software soluton for collecting this data?
Ideally making it easy for the customer to print custom report and look at historical data.

Keep in mind the users at this site are quite dense

rhowlett - I'm building MerInsight - ACD right now.

It captures the hourly reports from the switch, parses that info into a MS Access Database and allows the user(s) to print reports.

I created a quick version for Tammie (2) weeks ago and decided to run with it since it's often requested.

Cool. How soon until you think it will be ready.
More inportantly, how much will you be asking for it?

Will I need anything other than a PC running MS Access and a TTY port with the serial ACD data flowing on it?

That's it a PC, MS Access 2K and a direct connect to the switch.

Each hour the program will open, capture the info from the Switch, parse that info into MS Access then closes.

The client side can view the records, add agent names to associate the Pos ID, and run reports.

Should have it ready Monday Afternoon.

Cost will be an affordable $99.99.

After this one, I'll finish up on the MerInsight - Console. Does the same thing, but for Console LD 02 Information.
