| Hello everyone. I am in the process of trying to convert an acd queue into an auto attendant with out having to tear down the entire queue. Currently we are running SECCS 4.2 on a Meridian Option 11. Here is my dilemma. Currently I have cdn 2370 acquired in SECCS. At this point in time the cdn is not being used as an auto attendant in voicemail, it is just your standard acd queue. However, I've been asked to put a call tree on that queue where option 1 would be to go into the queue 2370 if you are a member and option 2 would be to go to another department if you are a provider. I want to set this up if possible without have to change the number that customers are dialing to reach us which is 2370. This is what I tried. I went into voicemail and set a Voice Service ID of 9489 as a menu service. Then I went to voice menu definitions and added the menu service 9489 as well by entering the following options. 1 CL (Call) 2370 - Memebers 2 CL (Call) 8137 - Providers Then I called into Prompt Maintenance and recorded the options but everytime I call 314-214-2370 my prompts never play I go straight into the queue 2370 as if the changes never to place or as if the menu tree had never been setup. Do I have to tear down the CDN totally? Just trying to keep from changing the cdn to a new number or having to take the call center out of service in order to accomplish this task. Thanks | ||||||||

Location: Locations Rep Power: 0 ![]() | You say CDN 2370 is acquired in Symposium. Does it queue calls to the operators or a call center? I'm not sure with the Express version but you will need to add a Route Call command in Sym. Where the call is delivered to CDN 2370 and is then routed to your VMDN - The caller makes his/her selection and then is sent to the appropriate queue. Chas2002

You should be able to IDC the 2370 number to a phantom or dummy queue that takes the call to voice mail. Add the phantom or dummy queue to the SDN table and point to the menu service that provides the options you are talking about. When they press 1 for 2370, the call should route to the acquired CDN in Symposium Express and get handled the same as it is when called directly today.
