I am getting ready to upgrade a SECC from Rls 2.0 to Rls 4.2 the documentation states that that all of the settings in the Historical Stats window need to be set back to the default values and the information will be purged. Is this necessary and how do we avoid losing the data?
Thanks

My experience with this upgrade is there is no way to avoid losing the history without causing serious performance issues. You can always run reports for various time periods and export for future access, it just limits search capabilities. We have another upgrade coming up, so if anyone knows a workaround to this data issue, please share!

Also, you'll want to check the names of your treatments to make sure they don't conflict with Scripting Keywords, because you may have problems with the scripts validating if there are name conflicts.
