Anyone have any ideas? I have 2 agent phones that won't aquire in Symposium. I have checked on the Meridian and both telephones exist on the switch... I have also checked that the TN number on the symposium matches on the Meridian. Any suggestions? Thanks

I know it's a little simplistic, but it's easy to do and to overlook. Is your phoneset built with dashes (4-0-7-7) for example. If the dashes are missing, it won't acquire.

I wish it was that simple really. No that is definitely not the problem, but thanks anyway.

Is it just those two TN's? Have you outed and rebuilt the sets on the switch then tried reacquiring? Have you tried different TN's? What about trying to program a new phone and acquiring it? Have you reached your Agent position (phoneset) Parameter limitations?

First - I'd suggest Mikey's recommendations and webs approach is right on the money - simple things first.

Second - and I'm not sure on this one - but I think you need the M2216ACD Type II set (I saw that somewhere but just checked the Nortel site and couldn't find anything). For grins - Do an IDU and verify your unacquired set as compared to a set that does acquire.

Third - As a test - place a known good set on that TN and attempt to acquire..

Cisoc IEEE PoE and I2004 Phones

This may sound silly but are you sure they are built as an ACD set in your switch? Is key 00 an ACD key?
