Need help with Centigram Model 70 computer

My 8 years old Centigram is acting up and the Hard drive needs to be replaced. I have a spare hard drive, but I have no idea how to get the system working on it.

This system runs on Qunix, and I have no familiarity with that. Anybody can help me?

According to

http://www.amdevcomm.com/voice-mail-.../model_70.html

the hard drives are mirrored and as a result should be easy to replace one drive at a time as the mirrors of the drives will be rebuilt when a drive is replaced.

Hope this helps

Julian

Re:

I had a Centigram Series 6.0 and the drives were mirrored -worked in a Master / Slave setup- and when I replaced the hard drive they somehow 'reprogrammed' themselves...

These sound very promising. However, from what I understand, you have to have a hard-drive "prepared" by Centigram. I have this idea from somewhere that the system will only work with hard-drives whose serial number was programmed in on the install floppies. You can't just go to Compusa, buy a 40Gb hdd for $50, stick it in, follow some steps and it will work... Or am I wrong. I would love to do just that.

So, Julian W, and Chas2002: was it easy to replace that HDD?
