Cool I need an voicemail Auto-attendant for my Comdial system?

I don't know the name of my system but it is exactly like this system, http://cgi.ebay.com/ws/eBayISAPI.dll?ViewItem&ih=005&item=150029430497&rd =1&sspagename=STRK%3AMEWA%3AIT&rd=1
I need an auto attendant system for my 5 phone set up in my office. The system is supposed to be out dated, but would like to pick up a voicemail auto-attendant on ebay or if anybody has one laying around.
Thanks.

Wow, is that a TO308 or a TO816 cabinet?

You have two things working against you, the Unisyn initial release didn't have Voice Mail and the stations require either an Analog Terminal adapter or a Proprietary card in the VM system.

Think about system retirement for your 5 phone system. Grab a Panasonic TA-824 with BVM for about $1300. It will only be about $300-500 more than you would pay for the VM setup if your cabinet is too old.

Thanks for the input, I just found something that seems like a near perfect fix, the Talkswitch 24-CA. It seems like something small and easy for me to set up. The only main thing I need is an autoattendant that will give off a couple of routine messages and transfer calls to about 4 people. Any ideas about this system?
Thanks

A Talkswitch 24 means 2 lines and 4 phones. You're replacing your 3x8 switch with 5 phones for a 2x4 box with no phones for $695 plus at least $400 for 4 phones? The expansion for the box is another $900. Yeah, I know about eBay, but even at 60% you'll spend $1200 to get a 5 phone 48.

Honest, look into the Panasonic. Two lines won't generate enough traffic to make a one-port AA an issue, and the Pana has enough VM capacity and you're getting the ability to grow without spending a fortune.

Hey Carl,
I have one line in the office that I am trying to set up on an auto attendant, as well as to forward callers to 3 different mobiles and one other lan line in our other office off-site. Do you think the system would be good just for the auto-attendant alone or are there systems that I can attactch to my regular phone to make it do what I am looking for?
Thanks again,
Asif

One answer www.packet8.net.

Look into Virtual Attendant.

How do you propose to forward calls to 4 different locations? You can't make a Central Office line do unsupervised 3-way calling and you will pay a penalty in sound for 2-line conferencing.

In my office, I have the poor man's simultaneous ring. I ring both my Packet8 number and my cell phone by call forwarding my office phone to the P8 number. I have both call waiting and call forwarding on my single office line. With that arrangement, I can get at least 2 calls at once with call waiting number display, and I have voice mail to catch the call if I should ignore it.

Hey Guys,
You can read this post:
http://www.pbxinfo.com/forums/showthread.php?p=103750

May give you some ideas.

I use Trixbox at home, I have an auto-attendant, Ring Groups, Voicemail and I can access my voicemail through a web interface as well. It has a Time of Day schedule, I can set up ACD groups and log into a que... it is pretty good for a free system.

Also I have IP Softphones through-out my house on my computers with headsets so any computer I can make or recieve calls.

I don't have any static-ip phones, too cheap to buy any yet but I will be looking into some of them in the future. check out the front page of PBXInfo.com there is an article there on the latest release of Trixbox, they have a auto-discover feature for IP phones now, you just put them on the network and it will automatically find and configure them.

Pretty neat for opensource.
