RE: optional standby scenario

Is anyone currently running Video along with their Cisco IP sets? I have seen some Tandberg and Polycom products that integrate.

Thanks
Eric

RE: VIDEO and VOIP

Running a call manager and having video integrated with the voice conversation. I belive this is a option of IPCC.

Thanks
Eric

We have 2 7985 Cisco Video phones (video is by Tandberg). We are also using Cisco VT advantage at many users workstations for video calls.

CallManager 4.1 will integrate in this way with Cisco VT-Advantage. Easiest is to plug the PC into the back of the IP Phone, plug a USB camera into the PC and install VT-Advantage. Then the IP Phone has a video softkey, press that and it hooks up the video on the PC.

There is a bit more to it, but that should get you going.
