hi every body .

i have to questions about cisco smdr .

1) how i can connect to the cisco pbx and get the smdr records using vb6.

2) can any one send me a sample of the smdr for thr cisco pbx ..

im using Cisco CallManager version 4.0

is there a differant between the SMDR for various versions of CallManager .

if you have a sample of the SMDR please post it to me or send me an email .

I'm not sure if you can still download the old SDK for 4.0 That went End Of Life several years ago. The data structures changed at 4.03b and again at 4.1.2 Then in 5.1 the entire database changed due to their switch from SQL to Informix.

So by SMDR, do you mean something different than the CDR records? Those are accessible from the ART/CAR tool in 4.0 Those records are in their own database. There are also a ton of 3rd party apps for the old CallManager that you have. Having 3rd party development for this kind of thing has been Cisco 's strategy from the begining. The ART/CAR tool is not very good, but the data is there.
