I used pri-group timeslots 1-31

And also used some other commands compared with cisco 3700 configuration that I have seen somewhere in my area.

sh conf

So, When I dial the number - The router does not answer - I mean I can't hear voice-modem sound.

You want the Router to answer? So you want the PRI to serve as 30 DUN lines?

In that case you need to post to some networking forums, not a voice forum. You want to create data networking over PRI modem connections. I thought you wanted to set up a PRI so you could dial out with some end point modems.

good luck

YES - I want the router answer the call from the PSTN.

Thank you very much for your kind support.

On the main point my router IOS is IPBASED as you mentioned in my other post and you are telling me to upgrade the router. So where and how?

since I now realize you want to do data networking via dial-up (Dial-up-Networking or DUN) then there is no need to upgrade. That was only when I thought you were doing voice.

good luck check around for posts on PPP.

You are right. What I need is a dialup networking, because I want get the PSTN peoble use the internet thru dialup. I assign a telephone number for internet dialup and will route this number to the router. So the cisco should anser that call with voice-modem then check the username/password and the allow this user to connect to the router then to the internet.
