weather or not you use the 30 cahnnels to call the internet via dial-up or you call your mother, it won't matter if you don't have the PVDM module with DSP's

what happens if you do "sh voice ?"

OK. What type of PVDM do I need? PVDM32 or ?

You need at least a PVDM32 but you are running IOS-IPBASE, pretty sure that does not have the voice feature set, you will need to upgrade to voice capable IOS feature set like IP Adv Serv or Enterprise Services.

See how both the file name and the Sh VER output list your system as using IPBASE?

That needs to be a voice feature set, not just base feature set.

I just realized you have created two duplicate threads. I put a note on the other one saying "PLEASE DO NOT POST TO THIS THREAD" and then referenced this thread title as the correct one for further discussion.

good luck with the DUN set-up. Perhaps someone else here can help. My expertise is with voice and not with data networking.

If anyone else can help, please post any sample configs you may have for setting up DUN using a PRI-E1 on a 2801 router running BASE IOS 12.4
