Location: St. Louis, Mo Rep Power: 6 ![]() | Am I logged in or not??? We are setting up Cisco Call Manager for VIOP. We are currently able to dial enternanl extensions but we cannot seem to dial outside the company. When pressing 9 for an outside line and begin to enter the first 3 digits of the phone number we get forwarded to the front desk console. Does anyone know how we can dial and outside number using CCM? We have a Meridian Option 11 PBX.

Location: East Coast Rep Power: 6 ![]() | Call Pilot Manuals How are you integrating the VoIP system to the Meridian.. via T1? From your post, I wasnt sure what you meant by internal. Are you able to dial the Meridian phones internally from the Cisco set? Are the Meridian phones dialable by standard 4 digit dialing? We have the CCM and VG200 here, and I might be able to help you out... just let me know.

Location: St. Louis, Mo Rep Power: 6 ![]() | Am I logged in or not??? We have installed CCM in two Cisco servers. We then have the servers connected to the network and connected to the PBX through a router and a T1 card. When I say internally I mean that I can call other extensions in our office and I can also call ip phone to ip phone. I cannot program the Ip phone into the PBX because our option 11 does not accept i7960 as the type. Maybe that is not the right input. If I want to call home or anywhere else outside the company I get forwarded to the console after entering my 1s 4 digits. Other users in the company cannot dial the ip phone because that extension has not been programmed into the PBX. We have a block of DNs 5100-5199. When installing the phone in CCM it will automatically assign the next number in that block. I hope that I am not cinfusing you with all of this. Thanks in advance though.

Location: East Coast Rep Power: 6 ![]() | MICS 6.0 2 digit DN Ok, lets take this 1 step at a time. In order for your Meridian phones to dial the Cisco phones (if going into the Cisco Voice Gateway via T1), you need to find out what the T1 is built in, and send those calls FROM the Meridian to the Cisco via CDP in LD 87. Letl me give a situation I have here; Our DID range is 5100-5199. If I had a Meridian phone that was a 2616, and I replaced it with a Cisco 7960, the Cisco people would program up the phone on whatever MAC address it has built in. For me to get calls from the PBX over to the Cisco VG200, I had to build an RLI table and CDP those calls out that RLI block. Below is a print of 5125 that I have CDPing out to the Cisco equipment. REQ PRT CUST 0 FEAT CDP TYPE DSC DSC 5125 DSC 5125 FLEN 4 DSP LSC RLI 8 If I'm barking up the the wrong tree, let me know..

Location: St. Louis, Mo Rep Power: 6 ![]() | Call Pilot and Lotus 6.0 I built a CDP for 5102. These are the steps that I took REQ: NEW CUST: 0 FEAT: CDP TYPE: DSC DSC: 5102 RLI: 5 Everything else I basically entered through. When I tried to call the extension 5102 it range instead of giving me a fast busy but it did not ring at the set. Can a Cisco 7960 be programmed into a Meridian just like a 2616?

| Clearing KX-TD1232 System Password This doc may help. The integration is with a DT-24+ but you should be able to easily adapt to an IOS or MGCP gateway. Not sure which gateway you are using. http://www.cisco.com/en/US/partner/p...11888c.sht ml | ||||||||

Location: KC,MO Rep Power: 0 ![]() | 1FB w/call waiting on a 1400? related issue: got a 61 with avvid connected via isdn. I've got caller id on outside calls to nortel extensions; have caller id on internal calls back and forth from avvid and nortel but I'm not passing inbound caller id from the nortel to avvid. I'm thinking I've got a nortel issue on the inbound trunks to the tie trunks to call manager. any thoughts ?
