Wiring Krone Adatper (RJ11)

I have a Krone adapter for connecting into patch panels but the other end is not wired. I want to try and wire it into a RJ11 socket but I'm unsure about which order the cables go.

I have 4 cables,

Green
Brown
Yellow
White

Every other RJ11 I look at has,

1. Yellow
2. Green
3. Red
4. Black

So what order do I connect the Green, Brown, Yellow, White?

See related thread on the Tek-Tips forum (Cabling sub-forum), but basically I have not been able to find any online documentation for the colors of the wires and can only suggest that with only four wires to deal with, your best bet is to simply use a meter to determine which wire goes to which contact.

plug it into a block bare all 4 wires move your buttset around untill
you hear dialtone if you have your leads right ( you have a 50/50)
on a polarity check it will test green those 2 wires are the dialtone
in and they should be connected to pins 4&5 or green and red
and marked "in"

the other two leads would be tip and ring cpe side and would
also be connected to another jack pins 4 & 5 marked "out"
