My turnkey installation

I ran into a strange one yesterday. My turnkey KSU and network installation got sabotaged by the customer

I had not delivered all of the network cables for the workstations and he had this purple 25' network cable "lying around." He then called me back to say that he couldn't get on the internet with his computer. I went back into the equipment room and the link light was flashing on and off. Almost steadily like when you do a hub flash from a tester.

I put my tester on the drop side and I only had pins 124&5. Wow, a T1 extension cable. It was weird, because the patch cable had all 8 lines in the jack. Anyway, after I supplied him with the 20' cable from my stock, all was well.
