Question External modem on BP50/250 (CPU-D4/5)

It is possible to use external modem instead of internal one (built in) on CPU to remotely access BP for maintence? If it possible please explain how to do it.
I have TSR 902 0466 cable (for connecting modem on CPU-D_/AUX).

Thanks in Advance

You will need to set one of the three com ports on the CPUD_ to
Device type 11
PABX Internal
1200 Baud (to be safe)
Auto select ticked
Route on request set to O&M with BMS/RASC
Dial attempts 0
Dialled number - blank
Modem init string - blank

Your TSR cable is intended to connect directly to a modem, so you should be able to do that, via a 9pin - 25pin serial adapter if needed.

You will need to check with a PC connected directly to the same serial port on the CPUD_. If you use the modem cable you already have, you will need a null modem or crossover cable to connect to the PC serial port.
