Rep Power: 0 ![]() | Analog Lines Problem Dear All Im facing a Problem With BP System connected to analog Trunk Lines the problem is that when we connect analog lines to the system and we make a call the call lands on a Digital Phone or Operator 4224 Phones Not AA after the Operator Transfers the call if the caller disconnects the line the phone keeps ringing and doesn't disconnect until you pick the phone..I've temporarily made a diversion to mail box and it seems to be fine but some places the customer doesn't want the call to go to Voice mail then this problem happens. this problem happens in some locations and some of them it doesn't happen. we are facing the same problem when AA is used. the problem is that sometimes the customer are getting busy tone although no one is using the trunk lines and they don't become available until we restart the system the line get back to normal. what might be the problem I've asked some people about this problem and he says there could be a problem with CO Lines although when we put analog phone on those lines the line disconnects perfectly.

Rep Power: 0 ![]() | Well, first you have to run programming session (from RASC or BMS) for your Country...this will adjust some specific data on analogue trunks... If that doesn't help, try to change command 1201 to 01 (Standard, simulate analogue phone). Problem with trunk lock-up can be because of external transfer...if customer receive call thru analogue trunk and transfer that call to external party (either by dialling number, speed dial or via diverted extension) will lock-up 2 trunks (analogue incoming and analogue outgoing) and only way to unlock tham is via operator console (dial trunk no (eg.701), press monitor key, 2x right speech and right clear) or restart the system. Way to avoid this problem is to order additional service from your provider (polarity reversal on disconnection). After that change 1201 command according to your country (eg. AU - 39 - polarity reversal as a clearing signal. BR
