Red face Initial BP250 setup
I am trying to set up a BP250 for my company using RASC and there are some probably silly questions that I need to find out answers to!


1) how to make a serial cable for RASC, i.e. pinouts from CPU
2) what his the pinout for the BTU primary rate card? 5 am connecting it to a vegastream 400

Then what to do to get a basic configuration going using RASC. What is the procedure? Is there a pdf that describes this?

we have some techs ans five salespeople. is there a "best practice" or planing document or even templates? any pointers on the obvious things I need to know would be great!

Also some "bonus" info I need

* pinout for the background music input
* hints on interfacing a CRM app to the pbx via the serial cable, what is the "low hanging fruit" there? What can be done using commands, and what needs licenses etc.

Can you please post BP250 software release and RASC release...Latest version of RASC will support only BP250R13...BP release can be found on eeproms on CPU.
Pinouts for a making RASC or BMS cable, BTU and MOH will sen to you on email toghether with som RASC PDF. There is some rasc seesions which can be run for basic config of PBX but without previous experience with BP don't expect quick solutions (specially with networking to another system - license or FECU can be a problem).

Well managed to get it running enuf to be able to make phone calls between two office phones... but am now stuck at getting the BTU-D to talk to the VoIP gateway... see separate thread for that!
