Cool Divert calls to an external number

Hello again..

I'm trying to set a call diversion on a certain extension to an external number. There's a fax on one extension whichs needs to have some maintenance, so while the machine is missing i intended to set a call diversion to a external "server fax". I entered the the entire phone number of that fax into a common short number and entered this into the 0112 command line (diversion address) and activated 0109 (direct diversion). This didn't work, so i tried it with my phone.

I was able to set a follow me with *21*c.short.no#, but the phone kept ringing. Trying it with a "real" extension, it worked fine.

Can somebody please give some advice on how doing that, or is it simply impossible? thanks in advance!

Hi

I have done exactly the same as mentioned above and it worked for me, is your fax on another trunk?

Hi,

Try using *23*Lanlinenumber#. This is an external diversion number. Check also your COS. if external diversion is permited.

hi!
thanks for your answers.

when i enter *23* the display reads: information mode - see manual, i think this is where to set away messages like "back at xxx"

i'm using rasc as well, but i am not so familiar with this program - any advice on how to configure this step by step with Rasc?

Hi gertsch,

What version of BP250 are you using. Checked out the scenario, it should work. You say you have programmed the c.short.no on 0112. Try using *21#, this would divert the call on the programmed Diversion address that you made.

Regards,
Sepay

Hi Gertsch

I set:
0109 yes
0110 yes
0112 to short code number
0119 1
0120 1
0123 yes
0156 yes
0158 yes
0159 yes

The main one seems to be the repeated call diversion.

Regards

Don't know your software release but you can try to locate commands 0184 and 0185 on exension and set to yes
3093 (on facilities) set to yes for that COS
check your created speed dial number-at front of "real" number insert external route acces code (0 or 9)
check if you set to yes "Open for COS" fields on your speed dial number
once finished, go to extension and dial *21*speed dial no# and make test call
or
dial *22*external acces code+destination public number#
Note: above commands depends of your BP software version...if it's old, some commands won't be available

Regards
