Rep Power: 0 ![]() | Rasc programming issue Hello all! Since I switched an extension from an analogue to a digital card, the connected answering machine ceased working. So i connected the answering machine with a different (analogue) extension. The problem I am facing is, when the phone and the answering machine are connected at the same time, it won't answer, if it is connected alone, it answers correctly. Next i tried to switch the extension in the "night mode". Using RASC i opened: Trunks, Individual trunk parameters, (can't remeber the exact menu name) and changed for the trunks 700 to 706 the "night route" to the new extension - but it didn't work as well. I am very new to this stuff, so i gladly appreciate any advice! thanks! Gertsch

Rep Power: 3 ![]() | Hi Gertsch, Can you send me your systems file back up, it is located at C:/rasc/kund/(name of system).ras. Just PM me Night mode, can be accomplished if the local executing the night mode is allowed to order a night mode. The default is night mode cannot be activated. Commands associated with these are 3022 to 3030. Now regarding you answering machine, I can't verify this, try using a different analog local from a different analog card. Question, what is the brand of your answering machine, but since this is an analog local only, you shouldn't have a probelm. Need you feedback. Sepay

Rep Power: 0 ![]() | Hi sepay! Thanks for your answer! I was able to solve the problem with the night mode. I just had to copy the "reroute position" entry onto all trunks, now when the night mode is activated with *8* the answering machine is answering concerning the other problem, i figured out, that on the same local where the phone and answering machine were connected, a really old dial-operated phone is connected there as well (est. 30 years old ) which still WORKS with the answering machine - so this seems to have a "mechanical" cause (maybe inside the jack there's something wrongly connected) - but i can live with that.
