Rep Power: 0 ![]() | ok, i can't figure this one out. i have a cust that wants to be able to change her comp grtg from home. she has NVM 4.0, and the instructions for this process start on the bottom of pg. 40 in the set-up & oper guide. she has already initialized the sys coord mbox and changed the pswd to something other than 4 zeros as you must do this in order for this feature to work. the problem is, when you hit ** at the auto atdt and enter the sys coord mbox number and new pswd it goes to the gen del mbox instead of the sys coord mbox. and then if you hit 99 from that point it just allows you to leave a msg in the gen del mbox and does not go to the "changing the business status" prompts in order to change the grtg. i have tested this myself w/my cust and it did the same thing approx 4 or 5 times in a row. i have a lab in my office that also has a 4.0 system and it works fine every time. i cannot figure out why i can't get to the sys coord mbox and then get to where i can change the comp grtg. i'm not sure if there is a setting somewhere that turns this opt on or off, i was not aware that you could even do that. it has to be something simple that i am missing, any ideas? thanks, tim/tampa

Rep Power: 0 ![]() | i did not check that option. do you think that would have anything to do w/it. in my lab here it had COS 7, but unfortunately i don't have my customer on the line to check that out. but if you thought that would make a difference i could change the one i have here and try to recreate the situation to see if it changes anything. which number did you have in mind?

Rep Power: 0 ![]() | since you brought up checking the COS, while i was there, i thought about what if the ext number for mbox 102 somehow was changed, as mine in my lab did show ext 102. so i changed it to ext 100 just for the heck of it and tested it, and it still went to the sys coord mbox, so i changed it back. i'm still open to try anything else if someone has any ideas?
