Call Pilot 150 access

Does anyone know what the default login and password is on a Call Pilot 150? Also, if there is a default IP address to connect to the system that would help too. Thanks in Advance

The default IP is - xxx.xxx.xxx.xx and unless someone has changed the password on the CallPilot, it will 'xxxx'.

Note that when you first go into the CallPilot via the unified manager with the default password, it will automatically prompt you to change the password and re enter it to verify it.

Hope this helps!!

Skippy, we (the users of this forum) as a rule do not give out passwords as they may be used by phreakers/hackers.

McNice read the manual to find this information because Skippy is wrong with his information. Everything you are looking for is available on the installation CD that comes with the call pilot. If you are the end user and did not get the documentation CD, I would recommend contacting your vendor for assistance.

Not trying to be a jerk, just that there may be people online requesting information so it may be used against someone else.

Thank you.

If the information is available from the CD, then if someone wants to obtain the passwords for wrongful entry, they will obtain it from there. By putting on your forum, what's the difference?

And if this is a concern, then why was this question allowed to be posted?

With all due respect.

Guess you didn't read my entire post. This forum is open to anyone and eventually the information posted can be found using a search engine like Google. By refraining from putting information on here that could help phreakers & hackers, we limit their ability to find this information. If you see a question in which a response could be viewed by someone doing a simple search on a search engine, then it's safer to respond to that question by email rather than posting it on the forum. I am sure there are websites out there that are devoted to the sharing of information for phreaker & hackers, but I for one don't want this website to be one of them.

As for the CD, usually phreakers & hackers won't go and buy a documentation CD from the manufacturer in order to cause damage. But if they do, they still won't be getting the information from this site. You can't always stop them, but let's not make it any easier for them either.

Thanks.

Just a guideline:

We shouldn't provide passwords in the open forum. While true default passwords are available on CDs, Installation documentation, NTPs and the like - those are authorized media(s), produced and managed by Nortel.

You can however, communicate privately with the member (PM) or state where the password can be located on the CDs, documentation, or NTPs.

Thanks,
Chas2002
