Location: Vancouver Rep Power: 7 ![]() | dial mode option Have a situation with PRI on a mICS 6.0 w/ a NAM4. When calls are placed to DID's that FNA to voicemail I get a recording telling me to enter the extension number of the person I wish to leave a message for. If I enter the ext number it just repeats the message. Programmnig is as follows: ext = 6701 did = xxx-xxx-6701 line 200 rec'd digits = 6701 line 200 A&R on ext 6701 voicemail box = 6701 voicemail DN = 6474 FNA = 6474 4 rings FOB = 6474 we are thinking there might be a problem with the digits from the provider, if they were sending say 10 digits is the system smart enough to use the last four to route the call to the appropriate line, but not smart enough when forwarding to voicemail? Any ideas would be great.

Location: Canada! Rep Power: 6 ![]() | PRI on mICS 6.0 I think you may be dealing with a compatabilaty issue. If I remember correctly they came out with a 4.04h as part of the beta trials. I think nam 4.1 is what is compatable with the mics 6.0 Please post the exact software on your nam. feature 983, (login) then press 9 on the keypad.

Location: Vancouver Rep Power: 7 ![]() | The Good Old Days...... customer says it did work after the install but shortly thereafter started to complain about it on second DID calls. After looking into it I noted it is happening on all 25 DIDs first and second call (ie already on the line). I'm fairly sure the software version is 4.0.04c. I can check in the morning, West Coast time.

Location: Vancouver Rep Power: 7 ![]() | RECOVERY AFTER POWER FAILURE Turns out it was a software issue. We upgraded the KSU to 6.0 for a call pilot 150. Unfortunately the Call Pilot was an Out of Box Failure, so we went back to the NAM. It seems the NAM would have to have been upgraded to 4.1 software. It has to do with how the mICS transfers digit info to the NAM. The tone setup must be slightly different. Even if you entered the correct digits at the prompt it would not go to the right mailbox. The only way to get in was through the company directory. We put in a temp Call Pilot 100 and all is now OK. Thanks to ALL [Edited on 19/1/2003 by payodie]
