On the CP100 release 2.0, it states that you can use a CCR tree path to Park and Page a call. (Chapter 7 - Park Nodes) Does anyone know how to set this up? I've been told that it is through CP Manager thru a computer/laptop connection. I'm not familiar with connecting a CP with a computer to access the CP Manager...can anyone send me some instructions on this (in layman's terms) b/c the manual is getting me no where...thanks in advance!

You connect via internet explorer. Take a cross over cable and connect to the CP and your laptop. Set your laptop network settings to be on the same network as the CP. ie; specify IP address, ( 192.168.110.11) subnet 255.255.255.0, then open web browser and enter the CP default address of 192.168.110.10. Enter your password, and your ready to rock. I haven't set up the park and page feature, so don't know much about it. Give it a try and see what happens, and let me know if you need more help.

I saw how to program it via the phone. How does it work? I saw where you programmed the voice prompt etc, but can't figure out what you would record there. How did you do it?

I setup Path 1 for PAGE then entered the ext # of the Operator (so it would know where to default to if never picked up) then I entered in the # of times to page (retries), the interval to wait before retrying, and then recorded a greeting that said "sales you have a call parked on" and then the system plays an automated voice that adds the location of the parked call "101" or "102", etc. It works great and if the call is never picked up it eventually rings at the operator's desk and then to their voicemail. You should try it sometime b/c it's a great feature that i never knew existed!

This is what happens:
Caller calls in and presses "1" for sales.
The system automatically parks the call.
It then pages and says "Sales you have a call parked on...101"
Anyone can then pick up the call or if they never do it will page again in the time you allotted for retry and then if no one still picks it up it will ring at the operator's phone and then to their voicemail box.
