Location: SC Rep Power: 5 ![]() | Firm Ware on 39xx phones This is a MICS with 6.1 s/w...I have a full PRI set up ... able to dial out but when you call the DID #'s you get dial tone (instead of ringing). I tried dialing an extension # and an outside # when I got the dial tone to see what sort of dial tone i was getting but neither worked so I don't know what's going on... what in the world would cause you to get dial tone when you dial a DID #? Thanks in advance, Phonegurl

| NRU 10.0 Schedular icon appearing for different users Make sure that your target lines are set up properly. Might have a problem with the received digits coming from the lec. As you probably know Target lines are incoming only, so you should get no dial tone with the target line set up properly. | ||||||||

Location: SC Rep Power: 5 ![]() | i've played with the received digits a lot...started at 3 and went up to 7 with the same result...i asked the telco how many digits they were sending...4 digits. any other ideas? i've set up many many PRI's and never encountered this problem so i'm stuck right now. i know the PRI works b/c they are able to dial out on it...it's just these crazy DID lines!

Rep Power: 8 ![]() | Have been out for awhile, so missed your post. I would also try removing and reinstalling the keycodes. BUT, just to make sure your protocol is the same as the LEC. I know it sounds strange, being able to dial out and all, but stranger things have happened. Be sure to let us know how it turned out.

Location: SC Rep Power: 5 ![]() | I was just about to post and let you know that everything is fine now... I ended up going into Hardware and changing the card type to LOOP (which dumped my PRI programming but kept the keycode) and then went back in and changed it back to PRI...rebuilt my route and target lines...now everything works fine...inbound and outbound. I think there was a slight corruption when I changed out the s/w from the original (which crashed shortly after install) to a new s/w card...i failed to mention that little bit of info on my original post! I'm going to keep a close eye on this system though b/c things like this happening to a new system a week after install makes me a little weary. Thanks for everyone's advice and input! Ramjet! I was wondering where you were...a damsil in distress looking for her hero!! Phonegurl
