I'm not too well versed in Nortstar, but as normal in our field, have been thrown to the hounds. What series phone do you use to program a 0 x 24 switch? Also are there any "special" trix I may need to know in setting this up? Thanks
Brian

pbxn,

first of all norstar systems come in 3x8, 6x16, 8x24, 0x32

if you have an 8x24 then the first 8 lines are built in, if you are using the 0x32 then you are going to need to make sure that your line cards are in the right slots.

Regaurdles, the answer to your question is m7310, 7324, or T7316. You will need one of these three phones in order to fully program the system.

as for tricks, just get yourself a book and use the glossary, shouldn't be hard for a pbx guy, just remember to try and not compare your system and this norstar, they are different animals.
