looking to upgrade R1/T1 to 4.1

Do any of the cards need to be changed out?

Does 4.1 need to be fiber to work?

Software and a ROM cartridge are required to upgrade from R1/T1 to 4.1 software. I am assuming you are using copper now. If so, I do not believe that there is an issue to upgrade the software alone. However, there is no better time to upgrade to the fiber when upgrading other components.
