Plant wide cell phone and two way radio

One of my customers has Norstar MICS 4.01 Software and they have a bank of 12 lines as there incomming and outgoing lines. They press 9 to get an outside line from one of these 12 lines. But when all of thier 12 lines are tied up they are supposed to be able to hit 8 to get an outside line from thier emergency numbers. But for some reason when they hit 8 they get denied in ADMIN. Can anyone help. I did not program this system but I am going out there to try to fix this problem. They ahve 4 emergency numbers for calling out under the digit 8.

Please help ASAP.

The alternate or backup lines are in another line pool group, more than likely Pool B. Make sure everyone is allowed to access Pool B.

Also,
Make sure you have "8" programmed as the line pool code for Pool B.

Also to keep in mind, this can be done automatically. The users can dial 9 and if all lines are busy it can "overflow" to another pool group, in this case the backup lines, automatically. But this means using routing and not just line pool access codes.
