meridian mail voice port upgrade
I am currently working on the Northern Telecom pbx system Model
description m12x0. I would appreciate any assistance regarding the
setup and configuration for this unit. The information that i am
looking for is how to connect to this particular unit whether its a
serial or dialup connection. I also would like to know basic commands
that will allow me to login and operate the unit. One of the key
commands that i am looking for has to do setup of the voicemail. I am
also in great need of the manual if anyone has any info on where i can
get it. But any information would be greatly appreciated. Thank You
very much!

a 12x0 is just the Trunk Module....is that all you have? You're gonna need a KSU in order to get this running. Please post back with KSU size and software.

Sorry, to answer your question...you cannot connect to that particular unit. If you have the whole system up, you can connect to that directly or remotely using a RAD (Remote Access Device).

I appreicate all the answers The phone system is up and running, it has modules installed. THere are about 7 lines and 7 phones each phone has a direct number through the pbx and also we can transfer using extensions. What we would like to have is the system pick it up and say if u know your extension dial it now and also each extension to have voicemail. PLease let me know if its possible and maybe if you need more info and the unit. Thanks a lot!!!!!
