Location: Lake Elmo, Mn Rep Power: 6 ![]() | URGENT! Need assistance with Northern Telecom Meridian Serie What software are you running on the main system. The M12X0 is not the main system, but, should be connected to the main system. If you open the cover for the M12X0, you should see a large plug, this is not the connector you want to trace back to the main system. Above, you should have a smaller connector, follow this back to the main system. Open the cover to the main system and look at the upper left corner. You should see a cartridge. On that cartridge you should be able to read the software version on the label. It should read: T1 R1 or Rel. 1.1 or 2.0 or 3.0 etc...

Rep Power: 6 ![]() | Software restore PCMCIA Thanks again for all the help! I have the model numbers off the cartridge it is T1 Release 1 and also there is a paper label that reads Rel 09, i am not sure if thats relevant to the system. There is also an application module with a floppy drive. On that application module there is a white label which reads NT5876RJ-93 R0642903 Release 01 Model 6. The phone system works fine but i need to enable the voicemail. I would also appreciate any information in regards how to establish connection to the pbx whether its a dial in or serial or parallel. There is a possible password on the voice mail system which needs to be reset. Thanks again!!!

Rep Power: 6 ![]() | Fletch's LTERM trick Thanks to all your help, you who you all are (PD Thanks!), I have made some significant progress. The next step in my PBX challenge is to find a way to connect a Voice Mail Application Module to the KSU. I need to know how the NAM interacts with the KSU. On the NAM i have 2 boards with 2 copper ports each with RJ 11 pigtails attach to the boards. I am having difficulties understanding how the voice mail is intergrated with the entire system. I was hoping someone can walk me through the process of connecting the NAM to the system. What are the RJ11 Pigtails for? I would appreciate all the help i can get. Thanks all!!!
