This CICS 6.1 with CP100 was upgraded to add Call Center Basic. Now the CLID doesn't work. Seems Basic Call center is not compatable with CLID so I thought it may have disabled all CLID functionality. I then removed the CP100 and coldstarted, setting telco to # and Y on line assignment. Still no CLID on the CICS. Any help is greatly appreciated. THANKS

RE:

Since the CLID information comes between the 1st and 2nd bursts of ringing voltage, set answer to 2 rings on the Call Pilot.

I have the AA pickup after 4 rings. Feature 811 and # only shows LINE00X. I did also change the flash from 6.0 to 6.1. The CLID worked before I made the flash card switch.

Try powering down the CICS and removing the trunk cartridge(s) then powering back on. Once everything is up and working, power down and re-insert the CLID cards and power up. By upgrading to 6.1 you could have (or the software for that matter) initiated some corruption into the system. If the CLID doesn't show, you may need to reconfigure the CICS system by doing a startup and reprogramming the entire system.

RE:

Well, I did that, still no CID. After I put in the basic call center key code, I noticed the CLID functions under call center tab said this option is avaiable only for professional call center. Any chance the basic call center disabled the CID system wide? Any idea how to remove the basic call center? I'm losing my -ss here............
