Good Day All,

While doing some routine maintenance tasks while logged in as installer the phone locked up on me while viewing events and alarms. I tried a reboot of the phone. No good. Tried disable and enable port. No good. Did a system restart. No good. Pulled power. Nothing. The phone when booting up goes directly to alarm screen below.
ALARM:50-04
TIME CLEAR

I can make outbound calls but can't do anything else from the phone.
Any ideas or suggestions would be greatly appreciated.

Thanks in advance.

Choose the clear option or the Exit. Clears the screen and the phone will go back to normal

Found it. :)

Sounds like you were programming on your alarm set (Ext 21,221,2221,ect.).

Press Clear and you should be OK.

I usually do what kennytlaloc recommends but if you would like to know what that alarm means read on...

An alarm 50 means that a station module has been disconnected...see below for recommendation on how to continue.

Record the code displayed on the alarm telephone. Identify the module that caused the alarm. Power down the system. Check all connections to the Station Module. If the problem persists, replace cables.
