Rep Power: 5 ![]() | BCM 1000 MSC Version Look at the MSC Card itself, it should say 1A on one of the chips. Also, the motherboard is a good indicator. If the motherboard has colored I/O ports (front flap of the BCM), then the MSC should be a 1A as Nortel changed motherboards when they changed the MSC Card. Let us know.... Brewsky

| Thanks for the info. Looking at the MSC the Ports to the faceplate are black, but the 4 ports at the top of the card that connect back to the motherboard are blue. I wasn't able to find any chip with 1A on it. The part number on the board is NT5B15AAAH. What do you think? | ||||||||

Rep Power: 7 ![]() | You will need to make sure that you can upgrade to 3.5. First, to go from 2.03 to 3.5 the hard disk will have to be 19 gig. On 2.03 you are probably running an 8 gig hard drive. You will need to upgrade 2.03 to 2.5 FP1. Then you need the upgrade kit (hard drive incl) to upgrade from 2.5 to 3.0 then upgrade to 3.5
